General Utility Worker

Maintains assigned areas/departments in a clean and orderly condition.
Essential Functions:
1. May load and unload equipment from trucks
2. Check in and check out fleet units
3. Assist with minor repairs
4. Maintain organization of lot
5. May wash equipment
6. Operates appropriate powered cleaning equipment as required, potentially including a fork lift
7. Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
8. Cleans department/area as needed and required
9. Lifts, carries, pushes or pulls objects or supplies averaging 40 pounds
10. Keeps supervisor informed of inventory levels of janitorial supplies
11. Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
12. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
13. Required to work overtime if needed
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Personal protective equipment and environment:
1. Safety glasses, steel-toe boots, safety vests, hard hats, etc., when appropriate or required per shop or customer site
2. Works with hazardous waste and receives Hazardous Waste Training every year

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
